Since I am new to the blogging scene I don’t know much about the widgets and stuff like that. I visited many of your blogs and felt envious after noticing cool widgets like Blogroll, Blog rank, Fave Me, Links etc. But never the less I believe in simplicity and would continue to amaze you through this blog. Perhaps the incident had nothing to do with luck but my own stupidity. Roaming around, discussing matters and filling college forms with one of my friends, I thought the day couldn’t be better. You see, one of the traits of the teen age is the “Devil May Care” attitude. Though I usually never support such attitude but that day I was out of my mind (who wouldn’t be after seeing so many college chicks). After filling up the forms we decided to walk half the distance to our homes (2 km!! God knows how we managed it). Then at one of the bus stops we boarded a bus….<br /><br /><br />In order to show off my new found freedom and superiority, I asked my friend, Shivy, not to buy any tickets. We were enjoying the scene outside the bus on a flyover, hearing chicas laughing and wondering when would our days come? At the final destination we were off the bus, feeling quite happy at our achievement of traveling without tickets. But the worst was still to come……<br /><br /><br />Suddenly, a very burly, pig looking ticket-checker caught hold of us. What now? Shivy who supported the “ticket less” idea now watched me in anger. We tried every bit to evade from the proposed fine. The ticket-checker was bombarded with excuses from both of us. But when he wouldn’t cut lose; we decided to shell out some bucks. He readily agreed to receive the amount. Well the fine was Rs. 100/- per person but we managed to discount it to Rs. 50/- each. The next thing we know is that we were out of his clutches. On the way back to home we thought about the whole incident and couldn’t stop laughing at our stupidity.<br /><br /><br />This is one of the many incidents of teenage that I will cherish through out my life. Some lessons have to be learnt and we learnt it the hard way.<br /><br /><br />P.S.: The next day we boarded the same route bus and didn’t buy ticket (and were not caught).
